Table Mountain and Cape Town City Half Day Tour
On this half day tour you have the opportunity to travel to the top of Table Mountain by cable car (own account - due to the fact that this is weather dependent). From the top of Table Mountain, 1000 metres above sea-level, you'll enjoy vistas over the Cape Town 'city bowl', Table Bay (with Robben Island visible in the distance), Lion's Head, the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, 'The Twelve Apostles' (mountain buttresses) and the extended Table Mountain Range stretching out to the south and the tip of the Cape Peninsula.
During the city tour of Cape Town, affectionately known as The Mother City, you'll visit various historic sites, including the Malay quarter, the city centre and the Company Gardens. If time permits, typically if you can't ascend the Mountain due to inclement weather, the Castle of Good Hope will also be included.
