Sun City Full Day Tour
Depart from Johannesburg in the early morning for the Sun City Resort, about a 2-hour drive away. The Resort was developed by South African hotel mogul Sol Kerzner and the initial phase opened in 1979. Over the years it has been expanded continuously. It offers a vast array of attractions and facilities, from family orientated to adult entertainment.
Some of the Resort's many attractions include Valley of the Waves - a huge artificial wave pool, sandy beach and water fun rides; a casino; various conferencing and event facilities including the massive Super Bowl; acres and acres of gardens and water features; the Gary Player designed championship Gary Player- and Lost City Golf Courses (home to the annual invitational Nedbank Golf Challenge featuring some of the top global players); a special outdoor entertainment area for kids called Kamp Kwena, etc.
