The Inn on the Square Hotel is situated in the heart of old Cape Town next to the vibrant Green Market Square. It is within walking distance of historic landmarks, such as the Parade, the Cape of Good Hope Castle, the old slave quarters, the Company Gardens, the St George's Cathedral,and the Buildings of Parliament. If you would like to experiment with typical African cuisine from different parts of the continent, Mama Africa is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
The Green Market Square offers an informal shopping experience with a large variety of curios, clothing, candles and many speciality shops. It is set on the old cobbled square where fruit, vegetables and flowers were sold in the Cape Town of old.
The newly refurbished Inn on the Square Hotel is a landmark in old Cape Town. Guest amenities include: 32 inch flat screen TV's with 14 satellite TV channels and 1 radio channel, Wi-Fi and in-room safes. The hotel also offers a heated rooftop swimming pool and sundeck with views on Table Mountain. A new signature restaurant, “Dish”, presents diners with the option of being seated either in the refined, urban interior or an open air terrace which spills out onto the Square. Though not officially graded, we regard the hotel as a 4-star property.
