Ezulwini Valley

Swaziland’s Ezulwini Valley lies between Mbabane, the capital city to its north, and Manzini to its south. Various attractions are located within, or close to the Valley. It is home to company HQ’s, a couple of malls and various hotels. Ezulwini is a popular destination for local and international tourists alike.

The Mantenga Nature Reserve and Mlilwane Wildlife Wildlife Sanctuary lies on the western edge of the Valley. At the top end of the Valley you’ll find three sister hotels. The budget Ezulwini Sun has been mothballed from a couple of years ago. However, next to each other the Royal Swazi Sun (4-star) and Lugogo Sun (3-star) complement each other perfectly. They’re a short walk apart on the same expansive grounds and guests have access to the facilities of both - including the championship golf course and spa at the former.

Further down the valley at Mantenga, clustered together are the 3-star country-style Mantenga Lodge, Mantenga Crafts, the Mantenga Cultural Village - for an introduction to Swazi Culture - and the excellent Swazi River Café where you can mingle with the Valley’s residents. Just down the road and around the bend towards Malkerns the Malandelas Complex makes for a great outing. It often plays hosts to music concerts and the likes, feature various arts and crafts outlets, good food and lots of space for the kids to run around.
